Magical Sea World : Havelock Island in Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Recently we had been to Andaman Islands for a short holiday. I am sure many of you must have already visited or plan to visit it sometime or other. For those you are yet to visit Andaman Islands, I would say visit as soon as possible, for already there are tourists coming from all parts of India, and it is slowly becoming like any other tourist spot in India. However, it has still not come to that level, so plan your holiday to this wonderful place soon.
Here are some pictures of this beautiful place, take a look. You would love Scuba diving, snorklling, sea walking and many other activities offered there. There are lovely beaches to visit of which Havelock Island is the best.  You can brush up history too at Port Blair.
For the next 45 mins. I was going to enter the sea world, which I had seen only in Discovery Channel.
                                                         I was so excited

                                                With my Guide/ Instructor

                                                       The sign meaning 'good'

I will post pictures of the beautiful beaches in the next blog.
                                                                     Enjoy!

  4. Beautiful pictures Rama. Scuba-diving must have been a one of its kind experience, isn't it lovely to swim alongside all those fish as if you were one among them :) It reminded me of Finding Nemo and Zindagi na milegi Dobara as Shilpa pointed out.

    1. Sandhya, you need not know swimming for this, anybody can do it. You only have to practice breathing through your mouth, which they train you that is all. The instructor would always be with you and take you to see all that is interesting there. So plan a trip to Andaman Islands soon, and have fun scuba diving there. No need to wait till next birth.

    1. I searched for it Sandhya it was not there.
The only comment that got deleted by mistake was Rachna's comment. I saw in the comment moderation too, for sometimes some comments don't come to my inbox, but they would be there.
It was not there too, nor in the spam folder. Maybe you thought you had clicked on the publish, but left the page without clicking it, that is why it didn't get published. SOmetimes I too have forgotten to click on publish and have left the page, only to realize later what i had done.

    1. I also remember seeing this movie many years ago. The actors were Shivaji and Sujata, though I don't remember the story now. Another movie that is based on freedom fighters of that era is Shiraishlai, with Mohan Das, Tabu, Delhi Ganesh, Prabhu and many good actors, it was taken in Andaman Cellular Jail. Ironically it was aired on the TV while we were there.
      Thanks SG.
