How to Recognize a Violet Aura Color Personality

Most likely you are watching a Violet if he or she . . .

· is charismatic and often the center of attention.

· attracts attention whenever he or she enters a room.

· is very passionate — about art, performing, sex, causes, or saving the planet.

· loves music or is involved in music.

· is a performer, writer, or artist.

· is self-employed or is in a position of leadership.

· communicates in a way that inspires and motivates people.

· has a sense of urgency, feeling as if he or she is running out of the time necessary to accomplish major dreams and goals.

· has a strong desire to travel, especially globally.

· seems to have a million ideas or visions he or she wants to accomplish in this lifetime.

Love this violet Hibiscus: we don't see it so often in people's garden. Now I have it in my garden.

Purple flowers in our garden

· often feels overwhelmed and scattered. Violets tend to multitask.

· talks a lot. Violets need to communicate, and often words of wisdom pour forth as if they were teachers or philosophers.

· talks about what he or she "sees," "dreams," or "envisions."

· discusses global, political, humanitarian, or social concerns often.

· is involved or wants to be involved in humanitarian causes or charities.

· cares about animals, especially exotic or global animals.

· seems older or wiser than his or her years. Violets often appear physically older or more mature.

· tends to be a serious and deep thinker

· feels very deeply and has strong emotions.

· believes that accomplishing his or her dreams is ultimately more important than, or at least equally important as, relationships.

·  has little desire to be a stay-at-home parent. Violets sense that, in time, they will need to be out in the world making a difference.
· becomes easily bored at parties if there is meaningless chatter and gossip rather than intelligent discussions about world events, travel, philosophy, spirituality, politics, or other significant topics.

· has a powerful personality that often intimidates people.

· can be highly self-absorbed. (when out of power)

· is dramatic or has a lot of dramatic situations in his or her life.
This saree  in gold/ violet  double shade with deep violet border was a gift from my husband for our engagement. I look at it as coincidence, that he chose a saree in my favorite color.

· is easily bored in relationships, outgrows them quickly, or has had affairs.

· can become easily depressed or sullen, often feeling that he or she is not like other people.

Famous Violets: movers and shakers Oprah Winfrey, Nelson Mandela, John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Maya Angelou, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Abraham Lincoln (all Violet/Yellows); singers and musicians the Beatles, Bono (of U2), Beyonce, Elvis Presley, Nora Jones, Cher, and Barbra Streisand (all Violet/Yellows); actors George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock (all Violet/Yellows); and film directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas (both Violet/Yellows).

Well, I also claim that colors like Aqua blue/ green and orange  are my favorite colors, and when I read about their significance, I can relate to them too, so which personality is true, one can never really say.
My mother's favorite color was violet too.

I feel I can relate to most of the points stated here, what about you, are you a 'Violet' person?

    1. Thank you KP. I was just browsing through these color charts, their symbolism, and felt like looking at the color violet, as it is one of my favorite colors, and found this. There a many sites about colors and their meanings, you can go to any of these sites, to know which personality is yours. It is fun, I don't take these things seriously, it is just like Astrology, it is only out of our curiosity we go to such sites.
I am really flattered, that you want to read all my previous posts, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
      Happy Navaratri!

    1. Thank you SM for your lovely comment. The golu has been arranged on the sideboard and with some roughly arranged steps below that . Most of the toys are permanently displayed above the sideboard, we have countless number of such toys collected over the years..

    1. Golus always look awesome everywhere, especially in Karnataka it is done with so much dedication, and lot of effort goes into making it look extraordinary. Mine is a simple golu with just some fairy lights adding glow. In madras too it is so much fun visiting people during this time, and see which is the best golu in the neighborhood.
      Thanks Renu.

    1. The internet fascinates me, with its mind blowing information on such trivial things as well as other more important things.
I just happened to read about colors and their significance, and thought of sharing it here.. It is just for fun, for these things cannot be taken seriously fr we would find every color has few things matching our personalities.
So I see another blue person.

    1. Thanks Rahul. Sometimes yesteryears don't seem like yesteryears, they give us the feeling like it happened only yesterday. And sometimes we also feel, were we really like that at some point of our lives: it is a strange feeling.

    1. Thanks Reshma. You are very correct, it is a good time pass, and we can learn something, like we would recognize a blue person by calmness. My husband too is a blue person. However, I like all colors, I don't think whether so and so color would suit me or not, when I go shopping for clothes. I seem to have plenty of orange colors too.
